Coolidge Burger King on pause

A Burger King representative Friday afternoon announced that, while a fast-food restaurant will still be built in Coolidge, it’s on pause right now.

Brad Flahiff, vice president of real estate and legal affairs at Barnett Management Company, said there is no firm date when construction will begin.

The pause revolves around a Southwest Gas line where the building would be placed, lack of supplies and materials, the increasing cost of those supplies and labor.
