A new $12 million hanger project at Phoenix Deer Valley Airport is just the latest in a series of investments in the city’s northern area that could spur even more work around the airfield.
While Cutter Aviation celebrated the groundbreaking of its new operations at the airport with Phoenix City Councilwoman Ann O’Brien and U.S. Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, it comes as north Phoenix is seeing increased commercial and industrial activity thanks in part to one massive project.
The Cutter Aviation project also is a sign the airport, which has seen its traffic drop since 2019, could return to the ranks of one of the top airports in the world for takeoffs and landings, according to statistics tracked by Airports Council International.
