As Coolidge looks to expand housing options, citizens raise concerns

COOLIDGE — The need for local housing options has remained paramount for Coolidge officials, as proven by a series of decisions made at the July 6 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting.

Preliminary plat applications for two large multifamily housing developments; a major site plan application for a 12-unit single-story apartment complex; and a rezoning application to renovate the residence at 463 W. Taylor Ave. for resale were all approved by commissioners.

However, two of the incoming developments received a bit of pushback from members of the public.
