COOLIDGE — The final regular City Council meeting of the year brought with it new faces, thankful goodbyes to departing councilmembers and the approval of two major road improvement projects near an area of the city on its way to becoming a manufacturing corridor.
Following last meeting’s certification of the 2022 general election, the newly elected Thomas Bagnall and Adriana Saavedra, joined by the newly reelected Mayor Jon Thompson and Tatianna Murrieta, officially took their seats at the Dec. 12 meeting.
It was during that meeting that the council approved a Public Roadway Construction and Participation Agreement with Pinal County.
