ELOY — This year saw a number of marquee moments for the city of Eloy, from a turbulent primary election that frustrated candidates and voters, a one-of-a-kind power outage forcing the city to come together and Eloy Glow becoming the new flagship event for the city.
Through all the positives and negatives that came through the city’s boundaries, Eloy Mayor Micah Powell and city staff are putting 2022 behind them, hoping to bring more success and growth into the new year.
Eloy City Manager David Malewitz said that he felt the city did “quite well” in 2022, given the market conditions that were out of the city’s control.
