Scottsdale-based developer, Empire Group of Companies recently broke ground and construction is now underway on its latest build-for-rent community in Peoria. Village at Pleasant River, located at 115th Avenue and Happy Valley Road is the company’s second community development in Peoria. Village at Pleasant River will include 246 single-family, single-story homes for rent.
“Village at Pleasant River will be our second build-for-rent community in Peoria and our ninth community located in or near the West Valley,” states Richard Felker, founding partner of Empire Group. “The growth of business in the area is significant and we are excited to be a part of that growth and to provide housing options for residents.”
Village at Pleasant River is situated on a nearly 25-acre site and will include a gated entry, a resort-style pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a community lounge. Each home will feature open floor plans, a private backyard with doggy door access, smart home technology, a full laundry room, large bedroom closets, plus additional storage and two parking spaces. The community will also feature a dog park and dog wash, walking paths and barbeque and firepit areas – all available to residents for recreation and entertainment within the neighborhood.
