The Buckeye City Council on Tuesday heard two items for approval that will provide more housing in the city.
The first item council heard was a request to take action on a final plat titled Homes at Susan’s Ranch. This site plan is an approximately 22.8-acre residential subdivision proposed east of the northeast corner of Miller and Lower Buckeye roads within the city of Buckeye.
Andrea Marquez, senior planner special for the city, told council that developer Susan Ranch LLC requested final plat approval for Homes at Susan’s Ranch that consists of 144 lots on 22.8 acres.
According to city documents, the developers will complete a full half-street improvements for Lower Buckeye Road on the development’s south side. The overall density is 26% landscaped open space, with 144 single-family homes offered in one- and two-story designs. The four open concept floorplans offer modern ranch architecture with private backyards and three, four or five bedrooms with study and loft options.
