Buckeye P&Z hears request for light industrial

This week the Buckeye Planning and Zoning Commission held a brief meeting with two items relating to the same property. This meeting consisted of a public hearing for a rezone and a minor general plan amendment.

The total acres of the rezone consist of 310 acres and a minor general plan amendment for an additional 110 acres.

These two sites are in two different zoning areas, and is being requested to be zoned in employment for the use of light industrial.

The subject site is located approximately a half mile east of the southeast corner of Verrado Way and Broadway Road.
