NAIOP Arizona launches multifamily committee

The Arizona Chapter of NAIOP, the state’s leading commercial real estate development association, has launched a new committee focused on multifamily development.

This committee will be a hub for government relations, community outreach, and education related to multifamily housing. The committee will work to positively influence state and local policy decisions, expedite processes for zoning and project approvals at the city level, and create a more positive and informed public perception of housing density.

“As our state faces an alarming shortage of attainable housing, NAIOP is taking steps to be part of the solution,” said Suzanne Kinney, President and CEO. “Our members are developing multifamily housing as part of their portfolios and have the sophistication and expertise necessary to take on this challenging issue.”
