Burger King still plans to have a home in Coolidge and hopes to break ground within the first quarter of 2024.
It’ll be located at 1405 N. Arizona Blvd. on the lot across from the Safeway gas station.
For a while, Barnett Management Company felt the 27-year-old Florence Burger King met demand, but as time went on, they saw a need for a Coolidge location.
“We’re excited to be there,” said Brad Flahiff, company vice president of real estate and legal affairs. “We build Burger Kings across the Valley … in the larger cities … but it’s always a little more fun to go into the more rural towns and communities. You tend to have more relationships built … I think you can get a real at-home feel … Everybody seems to know everybody.”
