Gov. Hobbs announces trip to Taiwan, South Korea as TSMC struggles in Arizona

Gov. Katie Hobbs and Arizona Commerce Authority President Sandra Watson are traveling to Taiwan and South Korea to bolster relationships with business and political leaders as concerns grow over the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co.’s investment in Arizona.

Hobbs and Watson will travel from Sept. 15-22 to the two regions to develop partnerships that could increase investment and create new jobs in Arizona, the governor’s office announced Sept. 13.
