The Eloy City Council Monday allowed the Economic Development Department to put out to bid an 81-acre parcel on the northwest corner of Houser and Eleven Mile Corner roads for mixed use development.
Jeff Fairman, economic development manager for Eloy, said the parcel of land, appraised for $740,000, will be sold as a whole, not in parts.
The council approved a request for proposals to be published to allow individuals who might have the interest and financial backing to bid.
