Major warehouse development coming to Tucson’s west side

A 100,000-square-foot warehouse will soon be erected on Tucson’s west side.

Copper Avenue Partners LLC bought 7.82 acres of land at 1901 W. Copper St., near Grant and Silverbell roads, from Arizona Lotus Corp. for $1.5 million.

The property was owned by the radio broadcasting station, Lotus, and was recently rezoned to light industrial by the city.

The buyer, operating as Cactus Portable Pods, provides climate-controlled pods for moving or storage and has been operating on South Palo Verde Road for several years.
