Affordable housing facility breaks ground in Glendale

Glendale Mayor Jerry Weiers joined Councilman Ian Hugh, Mercy Housing and city staff in breaking ground for a new affordable housing project. 

The $61 million investment will soon provide 148 new affordable apartments for seniors ages 62 and older.

“As a lifelong champion for our veterans, I am pleased that Mercy Housing shares this value, and these new apartment homes will have a preference for those who have defended our freedoms,” Weiers said.
