Zane Childress loved cars his entire life since he was a baby. His mother, Michelle Childress, says the car became his life. They were all he wanted to see and be around, even after his health became the top priority.
Michelle says her son had an underlying genetic condition called neurofibromatosis, or NF1. At age fourteen, Zane had his first of 15 surgeries to remove tumors. Zane had aggressive cancer eventually form in his neck and other parts of his body.
