Don’t believe dark housing predictions

As 2023 wound down to its final days, predictions of a housing crash this year abounded, especially on YouTube.

Don’t believe them, the Valley’s leading housing market analyst said last week.

Despite a somewhat rocky road last year in the Valley’s housing market, the Cromford Report assured homebuyers and sellers that there’s virtually no chance of a widespread crash either here or across the country.

And it took to task the numerous naysayers who have been predicting otherwise, noting, “There is no evidence of either a local or national housing price crash over the last 12 months … To conclude we have any credible evidence of an imminent crash would be simply illogical.”
