Tempe commission approves additional dwelling units at new mixed-use

New mixed-use development Apache Square will boast an additional two stories and over 100 more dwelling units from its original proposal, based on action taken at the Tempe Development Review Commission’s Jan. 23 meeting.

At the meeting, the commissioners voted on modifications to development standards and a development plan review for Apache Square, which is located at the corner of Apache Boulevard and McClintock Drive.

The modifications were approved in a unanimous vote of the consent agenda.
