Future growth and roads were highlighted during Florence Mayor Tara Walter’s state of the town presentation.
“With our corporate limits encompassing over 62 acres, of which only 10% is developed, the potential for growth in Florence is substantial. The expansion of employment opportunities in Florence and Pinal County is paving the way for increased housing demand. Currently boasting around 4,100 jobs, our employment rates have seen a steady annual growth of 2.1%,” Walter said during her presentation on Thursday.
The state of the town was hosted by the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce and took place at the Florence Woman’s Club.
