A real estate agent from California has some big plans for three parcels within the Town of Parker. Mike Villanueva wants to build “tiny homes” and park models on these parcels and offer them as workforce housing in the town.
Villanueva has appeared before the Parker Town Council in Call to the Public to explain his plan and what he says it will do for the Town of Parker. He is looking to build support for the plan, and he has the support of the parcel owners.
The parcels in question are located behind O’Reilly’s Auto Parts and Spanky’s RV & Marine off Riverside Drive and a third parcel located across Navajo Avenue from Parker Town Hall. Villanueva said he plans to build 12 2 bedroom-1 bathroom units per parcel, each with its own parking space. He added these parcels are accessible to stores and services around the town.
