You are invited to a ribbon cutting and historical marker dedication next week in Gold Canyon for a commemorative bench and plaque that honors the history of Harold Christ’s foresight in the need for stables and horseback riding in the area, and his selection of Don & Shelly Donnelly to provide for that need, while recognizing their rich history in the area. County Supervisor Jeff Serdy and District Administrator Connie Van Driel have been working on getting the bench and plaque ordered and in place for over a year, and this month it will finally be completed.
