It’s not a question if Chandler will build a new crime lab for its police force. The question is how will it will be done.
“I won’t belabor this,” Councilman Matt Orlando told his colleagues at a July 15 work session on the crime lab. “We need it, I agree to this, we’re doing it. The voters want it; they’ve said that loud and clear. It’ll solve a lot of cases, which we want to get bad guys and bad gals off the street quicker.”
The other six members of Council agreed on that point.
