Mayor paints bright outlook for CG, Pinal economy

ELOY — Casa Grande Mayor Craig McFarland painted a bright picture of the Casa Grande and Pinal County economy Friday at Robson Ranch during the final Casa Grande Chamber of Commerce Biz Outlook luncheon for 2024.

It was also the final time that McFarland will provide the traditional mayor’s update due to his term coming to an end in December.

“This is bittersweet for me,” he said. “This will be my last update as mayor. As you know, the new mayor comes on December 2. It’s been a good run. We’ve had a good eight years, particularly the last six years, we’ve been extremely good for the city and really for the county as a whole.”
