The median sales price for Scottsdale homes sold in July soared over the July 2023 number and was well past the Valley-wide median for the same time frame, according to data from Phoenix Realtors.
The median sale price of the 320 Scottsdale homes sold in July was $1,164,500 – a 22.2% increase from a year earlier. The average price of those homes was $1,568,552 – a 16.1% increase over July 2023, Phoenix Realtors said.
Valley-wide, the median sales price of homes sold in July was $465,000, up 1.7% over July 2023, according to Phoenix Realtors, the Valley’s preeminent real estate membership organization with over 11,000 professionals who boast the industry’s most innovative resources in home sales.
Closed sales climbed nearly 7% in July Valley-wide compared with the same month in 2023 in the Phoenix Metro area, according to Phoenix Realtors, which said the 5,000 closed sales topped the July numbers for the same month in the past two years.
“With more listings coming onto the market and increased buyer selections, July showed promise for a normally slow summer month,” said Phoenix Realtors board President Sheryl Bowden. “Prices are stabilizing, with just a 1.7% increase over last year.”
