Another reprieve for Clare House

Gilbert’s second oldest building will not be turning into a Heritage District nightclub anytime soon.

HDSOUTH President/CEO Denise Lopez said last week that developers WAGS Capital and Evening Entertainment Group have delayed action on the Clare House on Gilbert until early next year.

The developers plan to build the Bottle Blonde sports bar and nightclub on the site and have been giving the town and HDSOUTH time to raise money to move the century-old building.
