The City of Innovation is trying something new: Augmented reality.
Chandler is working on updating its Downtown Region Area Plan and decided to use an augmented reality immersive experience to get feedback from residents.
Bruce Meighen, the chief executive officer of Logan Simpson, said that in the first meeting with residents, his staff asked residents what they wanted.
They told him.
“Those were just words,” he said. “Our second meeting, we brought drawings of what those words meant and said, ‘did we get it right?’”
