New subdivision planned in Flagstaff

Flagstaff’s Planning and Zoning Commission forwarded a plat for a subdivision in Canyon del Rio to the Flagstaff City Council last Tuesday with a recommendation for approval.

The Lookout at Canyon del Rio is a proposed subdivision of townhome-style single-family homes. It includes 50 lots on 7.1 acres and is near the intersection of Whetstone Drive and Fourth Street.

Canyon del Rio’s development agreement, rezoning and preliminary plat were approved by city council in June 2019. The project included 1,426 residential units (of a variety of types) and 225,000 square feet in commercial development alongside open space.
