 City of Casa Grande Council Study Session04/21/2025Discussion of proposed obligation bond for recreational facilities center The City of Casa Grande is discussing the proposition of a financial ballot measure in the next election cycle to fund the development of a $40 million public master sports complex off of West Rodeo Drive and North Peart Road. 
City of Tucson Council Regular Meeting 04/22/2025Consideration of allowing special election measure to go to November 4, 2025 ballot for citizen approval of renewal of TEP franchise agreement. The City of Tucson Council will decide whether or not to allow a ballot measure for the citizen-approval of a renewed franchise agreement with Tucson Electric Power (TEP). Approval of the ballot measure would only lead to a renewal of the franchise agreement with TEP if the City of Tucson and TEP can agree on contract terms. Requested terms from the City of Tucson include:An agreement providing that 100% of the electric power supplied by TEP to the City as a customer will be from renewable sources; An agreement with TEP under which TEP will commit to providing essential infrastructure and equipment for an energy resiliency project at Donna Liggins Center; An Energy Cooperation Agreement with TEP to advance the goals and policies of the City’s Resilient Together/Climate Action and Adaptation Plan
