While May 20 is the official date of Glendale’s Special Mail Ballot Election, the key date to remember is Tuesday, May 13, when residents must return ballots in the mail.
There will be no polling places or vote centers provided for this election. After May 13 voters may deposit their voted ballots in the ballot drop box located at the City Clerk’s Office, 5752 W. Glenn Drive.
On Dec. 20, 2024, Worker Power PAC filed two referendum petitions with the City Clerk’s Office to refer the adoption of Resolution No. R24-131 and Ordinance No. O24-46 to Glendale voters.
Proposition 401 is about Resolution No. R24-131 which amended the property on Glendale’s general plan map from “parks and open space,” to “corporate commerce center.”
A yes vote on Proposition 401 would approve this general plan amendment, while a no vote would deny this amendment.
