By YourValley

Proposed text amendments on new land uses for agritainment, data centers and extreme water users in the Tempe zoning and development code are to be discussed at Tuesday’s meeting of the Development Review Commission.

Text amendments are also being sought for clarification to smoking establishment and tobacco retail land uses, modifications to applications, updates to security plans and definitions.

The commission meets for a study session at 5:30 p.m. and a meeting at 6 p.m. May 13 in the City Council Chambers, 31 E. Fifth St.

Agritainment is proposed as a land use in the AG, agricultural zoning district with uses including, but not limited to, fitness, education, special events, festivals and markets, art exhibits, agricultural food processing, petting zoos, camping, short term rentals, and similar entertainment attractions.
