Coconino P&Z considers resort, housing

A new commercial resort space and a manufactured home park could soon be approved in Valle, less than a mile north of the intersection of Arizona State Route 64 and U.S. Route 180.

During its June 25 study session, the Coconino County Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed an application for two zone changes and a proposed subdivision for parcels owned by Live the Dream Development LLC in Gilbert.

For one parcel, located along Route 64, Live the Dream Development is seeking a change from general zoning to resort commercial on an 82.25-acre parcel. The second parcel, located adjacent to the northwest of the first, would shift from general to manufactured home park zoning with a 151-lot subdivision across the 40 acres.
