Gilbert hires assistant town manager

The town of Gilbert has appointed Mario Paniagua as its newest assistant town manager.

With his public service career and a passion for community, Paniagua brings a wealth of experience and leadership to his new role, according to the town. 

“I am thrilled to be a part of the town of Gilbert’s exceptional and innovative team,” Paniagua said in a release. “It is a real honor to serve and contribute to shaping the future of this outstanding community.” 

In his new position, Paniagua will oversee several key departments, including Parks and Recreation, the Office of Management and Budget, Finance and Management Services, and the People Team. His leadership will be instrumental in advancing Gilbert’s strategic goals and delivering high-quality services to residents, according to the town.
