Hospital project advances after years of delays

A new medical complex is one step closer to breaking ground in Maricopa after years of failed promises.

Maricopa City Council voted on Oct. 7 to rezone 9.33 acres in Copper Sky Regional Park at State Route 347 and Bowlin Road to clear the way for California-based BR Companies to build a hospital and medical office building.
