Gilbert town manager search goes national

Gilbert officials told business leaders last week that the town’s search for a permanent town manager is formally underway, with an interim leader in place and a nationwide recruitment process expected to unfold over the next several months.

The update was delivered to members of the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce during a Jan. 8 “Good Government” meeting with officials from the town of Gilbert, where town leadership outlined the steps being taken following the departure of the previous town manager.

As part of the process, town council appointed an interim town manager, Dawn Prince, to lead the organization while the search proceeds.
