On Friday evening, June 26th, the Globe-Miami Chamber of Commerce gathered at the Apache Gold Casino and Resort to celebrate the best of our community at the annual Copper Globe Awards.
Eight awards were presented across new and returning categories, with several standout first-time honors joining the program. Congratulations to every nominee, finalist, and winner — your dedication makes this community stronger.

Resolution Copper : Large Business of the Year
Resolution Copper’s commitment to Globe-Miami goes far deeper than the mining industry. Through scholarships, local job creation, active participation on nonprofit boards, and genuine investment in workforce development, they have consistently demonstrated that hometown pride is more than a phrase. When the floods came, their employees were side by side with residents and local businesses — mucking out homes, clearing debris, and supporting recovery efforts. Community Engagement Advisors Bryan Seppala and Ana Vargas were specifically recognized for their role in building strong, lasting relationships throughout the region. The award was accepted on the company’s behalf by Community Engagement Liaison Aaron Miles.
