A big step for Eloy has taken shape over the past year with airport planning, which heads toward the finish line later this year.
The second open house for the inaugural Eloy Airpark Area Plan was held on July 29.
Dan Symer, community development director, and his team have presented the vision statement for the plan and conceptual land use plan to the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council. They have included commercial, residential, mixed use and other planning around the airport along with the conceptual goals for the airpark area.
About 15 people attended. Symer said the feedback from attendees was positive.
