The Chandler City Council has approved preliminary plat plans for a 33.65-acre commercial development as well as an expanded industrial project.
The council approved plat plans for a new phase of the Lotus Project. Conor Commercial owns the development and has plans for three new buildings totaling 500,000 square feet at the Frye Road and the Loop 202 freeway.
There are already four buildings totaling 470,000 square feet at the Lotus project.
CBRE handles the leasing for the development.
The council also approved preliminary plat plats for a 33.65-acre commercial project at Queen Creek Road and Hamilton Street.
The land is currently undeveloped. Portland-based Harsch Investment Properties wants to develop the planned Queen Creek Commerce Center at the site.
