Airbnb announced Tuesday that it suspended 70 properties from their listings for violating partying and event policies. The listings suspended are in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Sedona and Flagstaff.
In late August, Airbnb announced a global ban on parties and an occupancy cap of 16 for their properties. Guests who violate these policies are subject to fines and legal action.
Last summer, Airbnb suspended 50 Arizona listings that were in violation of those policies. In December, Airbnb blocked users “without a history of positive reviews”from making single-day reservations for New Year’s Eve.
