A year after Scottsdale City Council called for changes to the city’s downtown parking code, one member is calling for a moratorium on new developments until the issue is resolved.
In February 2020, Council directed staff to perform the study and investigate ways to improve the parking situation, which had been criticized by some local businesses and property owners concerned that new large developments would eat into existing public spots.
Since that meeting, no study or parking proposal reached Council.
