CASA GRANDE — Over the past few months, city officials have mentioned negotiations with large companies about potential projects coming to the region.
One of those, previously referred to as “Project Buckshot,” has reached a point where it can be announced publicly. Late Friday afternoon, the city sent out a notice that it had reached a preliminary agreement with the kitchen-and-bath giant Kohler Co. on a 1-million-square-foot manufacturing facility that would be built within the city’s industrial corridor.
The City Council will hold a special meeting on Tuesday to discuss and likely approve the development agreement.
City officials said they were thrilled about the prospect but also noted that it was still early in the process.
