Inland Kenworth facility planned in Mesa

By Richard Dyer | Your Valley

Inland Kenworth plans to sell and repair its trucks at a new industrial facility it is constructing west of Greenfield Road and north of Baseline Road in Mesa.

Preliminary design and landscaping for the 5.8-acre development recently were discussed by the Mesa Design Review Board.

The industrial building will have 26,370 square feet of floor area, Staff Planner Chloe Durfee-Sherman said during the Nov. 9 board meeting.

“Their landscape plan is taking into account that this is a larger vehicle sales center, which does make sure that at least 10% of the lot is covered with landscaping as well as to take into account there is a water main easement along that south property line that does not allow any landscaping to be put there and so that landscaping has been redirected into other spots on the lot,” she said.
