(SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.) — Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty, Arizona’s leader in the luxury market is pleased to announce the outstanding accomplishments of 12 women who have made major strides in Scottsdale’s luxury realty market for the 2021 year.
The Women Council of Realtors Top Women Award has been given to 16 Scottsdale agents with the highest volume and units the past year, 10 of which have been awarded to Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty agents.
Namely, Kathleen Benoit, Karen Baldwin and Bee Francis for top units sold, Josie Pakula, Lisa Roberts, Cindy Metz and Sally Cashman for top volume, and Lisa Lucky, Susan Pellegrini and Karen DeGeorge for top volume and units sold.
“The Scottsdale Women’s Council of Realtors hosts an annual awards celebration for the industry’s top women producers based on their sales in both volume and units,” said Susan VanHooser, WCR President. “This year 10 of the 16 agents being honored are all from Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty. This is such a phenomenal accomplishment for our agents which showcases all of the hard work by this outstanding group of women who sold $701,160,375 in volume and 625 units this year. We are so proud to have them as a part of our Scottsdale Women’s Council of Realtors network.”
Also recognized is luxury agent Cionne McCarthy, who was recognized for the Women of Achievement Award for her outstanding dedication to her craft and community over the last 39 years.
McCarthy’s sales reached record heights in 2020, securing her spot within the top level of recognition: the “Lyon’s Elite.” With more than one billion in sales, McCarthy has earned her spot in the top 1% of all agents and has been continually recognized as a “Top Producer” for Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty for the past 39 years.
McCarthy is one of the original founders of the successful Luxury Home Tour, one of the country’s first and largest networking events for luxury agents. The Luxury Home Tour is one of the few luxury tours that donates thousands of dollars every year to charity organizations.
Her achievements continue outside of the realty world; McCarthy has served over 13 years on the American Heart Association Heart Ball Committee in various roles as a volunteer, CEO and continuing board member. In addition, she regularly volunteers with Fresh Start Women’s Foundation; the Sojourner Center, a center dedicated to help victims of domestic violence and the Child Crisis Nursery.
McCarthy’s nomination comes as little surprise to those who know her. She has managed an impressive career with Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty over the last 40 years and has shown continued commitment to giving back to her community.
