A slate of events are being planned in Chandler for the run up to Super Bowl LVII in February.
The Chandler City council approved a $25,000 sponsorship and a license agreement with Powerhouse Innovative Strategies Corp. to host the 2023 End Zone Experience.
The events will run Feb. 6 to Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 12.
New York-based Powerhouse will produce approximately 10 events during Super Bowl week.
Those include high school sports workshops, concerts, youth and other exhibition games and a Game Day Family Festival to help promote Chandler.
The events are scheduled to be held at Dr. A.J. Chandler Park and the Chandler Center for the Arts.
The Super Bowl will be played at State Farm Stadium in Glendale but there will be fan events, parties and other functions across the Valley including downtown Phoenix, Scottsdale and the East Valley.
The council approved the sponsorship at its March 25 meeting.
