Scottsdale-based Taylor Morrison Home Corp. (NYSE: TMHC) and Mesa-based Christopher Todd Communities are opening their first build-to-rent community in Mesa, with a slew under development in Arizona and across the country.
The build-to-rent concept is taking the country by storm, offering renters the chance to live in a detached, single-family unit, without sharing walls, floors and ceilings with other noisy tenants. What’s more, these communities offer resort-like amenities, such as pools, clubhouses, dog parks, barbecue areas and more.
And renters don’t seem to mind the higher rental rates for these luxuries, with base prices ranging between $1,546 and $3,054 for a Christopher Todd branded community in the Valley.
