California developer set for first of several large industrial projects in Valley railplex

Sacramento, California-based MacLaughlin & Co., a commercial development, brokerage and property management company, had always kept an eye on the Arizona industrial market.

As the family-owned company noticed more tenants were moving out of the Golden State, MacLaughlin executives connected with Phoenix broker Rob Martensen, senior executive vice president at Colliers International, in 2021 to look for a site for the company’s first Arizona project.
