New Vestar Hire Poised To Create Big Change & Growth Within The Company

(PHOENIX, Ariz.) —Vestar, the largest privately held shopping center developer, owner and manager in the western United States, announced that Miles Sanchez has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer effective immediately.

Since joining Vestar in August 2021 as Executive Vice President of Operations, Sanchez has been helping lead and manage the company’s overall day-to-day business operations. In his new role, he will be responsible for the continuous measurement and effectiveness of all internal and external processes, to ensure adequate systems, policies, and procedures are in place to achieve the company’s goals.

“Miles has been a great addition to the Vestar team,” said David Larcher, President & CEO of Vestar. “His experience and knowledge transcend every department and he has proven to be an effective leader. We are confident that in his new role, he will continue to provide guidance and support to our associates, partners, and clients.”

Prior to joining Vestar, Sanchez was with Weingarten Realty Investors, where he was responsible for leading and growing the company’s western region to over 80 shopping centers and mixed-use projects throughout the western United States.
