Adjusted Maricopa multifamily development gets commission approval

MARICOPA — The Maricopa Planning and Zoning Commission approved changes to the Roers multifamily development on Monday.

The development request was made by Greg Davis of Iplan Consulting for the review and approval of the site plan, landscape and photometric and elevation plans.

Roers is a proposed 200-unit, multistory, multifamily development on about 12 acres at the southwest corner of North Porter and Iron Point roads just south of Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway.

The City Council approved the development back in June to change the existing general plan use of Public/Institutional to High-density Residential along with the zoning from General Business to High-density Residential.
