CASA GRANDE — The Lucid Motors electric vehicle place will soon be expanding its operations from 800,000 square feet to 2.8 million, according to Steven David, senior vice president of operations.
David made his remarks Friday as the keynote speaker at a sold-out Greater Casa Grande Chamber of Commerce Biz Outlook Luncheon at the Francisco Grande Hotel and Golf Resort.
David told the audience that the Lucid plant would be aiming to produce a number of different models. Currently the company is producing one type of vehicle known as the Air model and is looking to add the Sapphire model to its Casa Grande manufacturing operations.
