COOLIDGE — Procter & Gamble is in the process of deciding which laundry products to produce at its new Coolidge plant, a company executive said at the May 17 Coolidge Chamber of Commerce luncheon.
Eric Craft, human resources director, said the plant in the beginning will produce Tide Pods, Downy fabric softener or Bounce dryer sheets.
He said the company will decide which one to focus on and then announce it at the groundbreaking.
Craft said all three products use low water amounts and hopes eventually all three of them will be produced at the Coolidge plant at the same time.
“We want to be a part of the community and have businesses grow,” he said.
He said in a typical residence most of the water used is for laundry and doing dishes.
