Habitat for Humanity continues building starter homes in Flagstaff

A little less than a year after the completion of its first starter home in Flagstaff, Habitat for Humanity of Northern Arizona’s director, Eric Wolverton, said he’s already starting to see results.

A local father has been living in that first home, completed in November, for about six months now. The second starter home being constructed next door is expected to house another local family soon, and the nonprofit is moving through the city approval process on 40 more that will be built as part of the Timber Sky development over the next four years.

Wolverton is also getting calls from other Habitat branches asking for advice on how to bring the model to their city.
