Councilwoman Anna Thomasson is announcing her candidacy for mayor of the Town of Paradise Valley.
“Inspired by Mayor Jerry Bien-Willner and past mayors, I filed to be on the Aug. 6 ballot as your next mayor,” Councilwoman Thomasson told the Digital Free Press upon filing her formal intentions Friday, Jan. 26 to run for mayor of the Town of Paradise Valley.
“For 30 years, including six years of volunteer service on Town Council, Paradise Valley has been my home. We have a beautiful, peaceful, and safe community and I am passionate about keeping it that way.”
Councilwoman Thomasson is serving her second consecutive term as an elected leader of the Town of Paradise Valley meanwhile she served in 2018 by appointment on the Board of Adjustment.
